On July 30, 1990 31 Ford enthusiasts gathered in the Music Room at Fair Lane to discuss the idea of creating the Ford Heritage Association. At that meeting Donn Werling, our founder and Director of the Henry Ford Estate at the time presented an affirmation of purpose that we still adhere to today. “The purpose of the Henry Ford Heritage Association is to foster interest in the life and accomplishments of Henry Ford and the preservation and interpretation of landmarks associated with his life”.
We would like to thank Edsel B. Ford II, Kathleen Mullins and the Board of the Ford Historic Estates for inviting us back to Fair Lane to celebrate the Henry Ford Heritage Associations 25th Anniversary. We would also like to thank Donn Werling for coming to be our guest speaker and Peggy Campbell, grand niece of Clara Bryant Ford, for coming to introduce Donn for us.
The HFHA Board is working very hard to come up with new ideas to grow our membership but we need your help. To make sure that this great organization survives another 25 years we are asking you to tell your friends and family about us and invite them to join or give a one year gift membership for as little as $15.
